I thought of your page, this evening, when I was watching the local
news...talk about a bunch of rednecks! I laughed harder than I have in
a long time... seems these two cats down in Rutherford County, TN, which
is on the TN/AL line, decided to steal an ATM machine...so, they pull it
loose from the building (seems to be the only part that they had figured
out!), and, then, they attach it to the back of this trap-of-a-car with
a chain, and DRAG it through traffic, over the line into Alabama, where
they were immediately apprehended...you could follow the marks on the paved
road where they left out and drove over the line! Ha! Talk about leaving
a trail...! I wonder if they thought that they were being really inconspicuous,
dragging that ATM machine through morning traffic across the state line...

Bet they watched too many show where the sheriff gave chase and then
stopped at the state line. You know they thought they would be home free
once they crossed the line. Guess they never saw Smokey and the Bandit.
