When I moved here there were only two of the television networks on the air so to get NBC you had to get cable. I was told that the station had burned and had not been on the air for several years. Therefor it was a big event, all over the news, when a new station was built. A co-worker and I were discussing the upcoming event. Especially how it would be nice to give the only station with local news some competition. A young lady who works with us overheard part of the conversation and asked us what we were talking about. My co-worker explained that the new station would be on the air in a few days and how it would be a big event locally. She said she had been watching that station all along and we both laughed thinking she wasn't serious. This didn't sit well with her and she insisted it was true. A heated discussion ensued about how she couldn't be watching that station. As she continued to argue, she began to become angry so finally my co-worker said it was impossible for her to be watching that station because it burned down three years ago. She paused, thought and then replied "well then it must have been reruns I was watching".
